SCHOOL BASED COUNSELING.

Every child needs to be heard!

For over a decade, Youth & Family Services has contracted with Enid Public Schools to provide behavioral and mental health services to students. In alignment with our overall mission to “value, support and care for individuals and families,” the School-Based program serves nearly a thousand are children.

In the YFS School Based program, qualified counselors are located within 12 area schools. This allows our professionals to provide services to children during their school day.

NO child is ever refused services based on the inability to pay! To refer your child to the school-based program contact your child’s school administrator OR contact us at (580)233-7220. You can also fill out the contact form on this page and we will get in touch with you!

Outpatient Counseling Services

Outpatient counseling provides individual, family, and group counseling to ALL the programs that make up Youth & Family Services. We pride ourselves on being able to see any youth, regardless of their family’s ability to pay.

Our Outpatient Counseling Services is the largest program offered at Youth & Family Services and continues to grow. Outpatient counseling includes individual, family, and group counseling. With over 20 counselors that are Licensed or under supervision for Licensure, Youth and Family Services has someone who can help.

All of the counselors at Youth and Family Services are continuously improving their training. Many of our counselors have specialized training including both adult and youth Drug and Alcohol counseling.  We also have counselors trained in top evidence based techniques such as Trauma Informed CBT and Seeking Safety.

Whether you consider your problems large or small, they are yours and the pain or dysfunction doesn’t go away by comparing it to others problems.  Our counselors are person-entered and work with you to develop treatments to help, no matter the “size”.

Adult Counseling

Youth and Family Services is not just for children. Many of our counselors work with adults on adult issues. We now have open appointments for adult counseling sessions available during the day. BlueCross BlueShield, UMR, United Healthcare, and Healthchoice insurance accepted.

Anger Management Classes

Youth & Family Services offer classes in Anger Management for people of any age. Adults attend groups with men and women struggling with issues of controlling anger. We have both teen and pre-teen classes as well. The adult course covers a 6-week program while the teen course is open and ongoing.
