PARENT-CHILD INTERACTION THERAPY.

IMPROVING RELATIONSHIPS & BEHAVIORS!

YFS is excited to offer Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, or PCIT. PCIT is a two phase program that helps children who are showing aggressive, defiant, and/or destructive behaviors.

Studies have shown that:
(1) Parents using skills learned in PCIT can improve family relationships and child behaviors even if substance abuse, mental health concerns, or interpersonal violence have occurred;
(2) If a child’s behaviors improve in the home, those improvements often carry over into school and other public settings, resulting in fewer disciplinary actions against the child.

To schedule an appointment, please call (580) 233-7220 or complete the form to the right. To learn more about how PCIT works, visit our blog at https://yfsenid.org/2018/07/03/yfs-introduces-pcit/
