First Time Offenders (PASS).

YFS First Time Offenders (Pass) Classes:

This early intervention program is designed to help families develop new skills for dealing with today’s problems.  Both a parent and a child attend this 12 hour class to improve their communication, relationships, and resolution of family problems by learning to make win-win decisions.

The program is designed for any family with teens and has been used for intervention when children have gotten in trouble with the law.  Statewide the program boasts that less than 10% of the youth referred by courts reoffend.  (That’s 90% do not get in trouble with the law again).
