The mission of United Way is to impact the community by identifying, prioritizing, and facilitating the meeting of human serve needs. In support of this mission, United Way of Enid seeks to help increase the organizational capacity of people to care for one another. Their 60 programs serve more than 37,000 people.
The Oklahoma Association of Youth Services is comprised of 42 “designated” not-for-profit Youth Service Agencies located throughout Oklahoma. A local board of directors governs each Youth Services Agency. Youth Services Agencies are dedicated to providing high quality services to our state’s greatest assets-children, youth and families.
The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services is responsible for providing services to Oklahomans who are affected by mental illness and substance abuse. In FY13, ODMHSAS provided services to approximately 187,000 individuals.
Youth and Family Services counseling accredited by CARF – CARF accreditation signals a service provider’s commitment to continually improving services, encouraging feedback, and serving the community.
The Junior Welfare League of Enid is an organization of active young women interested in our community’s welfare and growth. Since its humble beginnings during the depression, JWL has been successful in reaching out to hundreds of individuals and organizations through fundraisers and service committees. Over the last year, JWL has given $49,324.00 to the community to help with a large variety of worthy causes.
BNSF is a critical link that connects consumers with the global marketplace. For more than 160 years, BNSF has played a vital role in building and sustaining this nation’s economy.
The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, a member of the Feeding America network of Food Banks, is the largest private domestic hunger-relief charity in the state – providing enough food to feed more than 116,000 hungry Oklahomans every week, 37 percent of which are children. One in four children and one in six adults struggle with hunger, never certain where their next meal will come from or if there will even be a next meal. In fiscal year 2015, the Regional Food Bank distributed 49.9 million pounds of food through a network of 1,250 charitable feeding programs and schools throughout 53 central and western Oklahoma counties.

Vance delivers world-class pilots on time, executes the syllabus to perfection to produce pilots prepared to excel in follow-on training and fly, fight and win for their nation’s Air Forces. Vance deploys combat ready warriors, trains and equips Airmen that are prepared to execute Combatant Commander directed missions.
Cool 2B Kind is our local chapter of the National Association of People Against Bullying. Cool 2B Kind offers a safe place for students who have been bullied to share their experiences, get peer support, and find empowerment for preventing future bullying. Click here to learn more!
